BOOKS IN BLOOM – PARTNERED WITH THE SHARON GARDEN CLUB , Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:30-8:00 p.m. All enjoyed a live demonstration by Valerie Kafka, Patricia Simmons, and Kathy Hawes of the Sharon Garden Club as they created floral arrangements inspired by the novel. The event also featured Virginia Liu who played the Chinese Dulcimer and nine additional floral designs on display throughout the library.

 

 

 

 

 

CHINESE BANQUET AT ALICE’S MANDARIN TASTE , Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 12:00-3:00 p.m. All enjoyed a 3-course Chinese Banquet luncheon at Sharon’s popular restaurant as owner Alice Hui discussed Chinese culture and how her personal journey related to Lisa See’s novel.
